September 14, 2010 - Counties throughout the State of New York conducted their Primary Elections today using optical scan voting equipment. NTS eSuite customers using TERACS, the election reporting module of eSuite, started publishing unofficial results moments after the 9 p.m. close of polls.

September 10, 2010 - NTS is now a proud member of the New York State Council of Superintendents (NYSCOSS). June 10, 2010 - NTS attends the 62nd Annual New York State Association of School Business Officials conference in Saratoga Springs. Along with Saratoga County Board of Elections, NTS will demonstrate the use of the new Optical Scan voting machines and Ballot Marking devices. This will serve as a "sneak peak" for many of the districts attending.

May 18, 2010 - NTS prints and delivers poll books for over 1.2 million voters in 11 counties for the 2010 Municipal Primary Elections in Pennsylvania. NTS has been providing election solutions in Pennsylvania for nearly 20 years.

May 11, 2010 - The New York State Board of Elections has provided counties NCOA files. New York Election law, Section 4-117 was amended last year to provide that the Mail Check of Registrants be performed between August 1st and August 5th of each year.

April 20, 2010 - New Jersey conducts annual school board elections and NTS prints poll books for over one million voters for Bergen, Somerset and Morris counties.

March 23 - 24, 2010 - NTS attends the New Jersey Association of Election Officials (NJAEO) 73rd Annual Conference, meeting with long time customers, Morris, Bergen and Somerset counties.

February 16, 2010 - The Schenectady County Clerk's office is up and running on totally new hardware after a complete upgrade performed by NTS staff over the long holiday weekend. This replacement was accomplished with no downtime for the Clerks staff and provides for faster processing of court and land records as well as providing for better redundancy and disaster recovery.

January 7 - 8, 2010 - Keeping abreast of election administration and voter registration trends and developments, NTS attends the Joint Election Officials Liaison Committee (JEOLC) meeting in Washington, DC. County and State Election Officials have the opportunity to hear from Election Assistance Commission Staff and Commissioners as well as Congressional staff regarding issues of the day like the MOVE Act as well as future directions. NTS has attended this meeting for nearly 15 years.

December 15, 2009 - The dust has settled from the successful pilots of optical scan voting machines throughout New York State and the pilot of the NTS Asset Tracking and Management System, Custodian, has been a success! Custodian was utilized by both the Niagara and Oswego County Boards of Elections to track voting equipment during storage, maintenance, transportation and deployment. This system allowed the counties to maintain a strict chain of custody throughout the process.

December 1, 2009 - NTS provides poll books to the Dutchess County Board of Cooperative Education Services (BOCES) for their vote on a new centralized campus. This election involved nearly 170,000 voters spanning 3 counties and 14 school districts. Dutchess BOCES used NTS supplied poll books with signatures and bar codes to process voters for the December 1st vote.

November 3, 2009 - Happy General Election Day!  As always, NTS will be providing customer support throughout the day and evening for our customers.  If you encounter any difficulties or have questions please call customer support starting at 5:00 a.m. We will have support representatives on duty to assist you in the case of a problem. Customer support will be staffed through the evening after polls close. Remember, we're not done until you're done!

October 27, 2009 - Legislation just enacted in New York State requires the availability of a countywide street finder at every polling place. In order to comply with this new State legislation for the General election next week, NTS has supplied guidance to the 49 counties we serve with TEAM software. As deployed, the TEAM system has the capability of providing a report that will meet the requirements of this new legislation.

October 28, 2009 - President Obama has signed into law the Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment (MOVE) Act, legislation designed to make it easier for U.S. troops to cast ballots from overseas. NTS will work with State and County election officials to ensure that this legislation is implemented so as to allow every qualified military and overseas voter the opportunity to cast his or her ballot.

October 15, 2009 - NTS participates in the Technology & Homeland Security Forum in Niagara Falls, NY. Organized by Niagara County Data Processing Director Larry Helwig, this forum is Western New York's leading Technology & Homeland Security event with over 50 vendors, 6 classrooms with many educational sessions, a nationally known keynote speaker, and over 350 attendees.

September 15, 2009 - Today, Primary Election Day in New York State, NTS will provide extended customer support hours from 5:00 AM until our last customer has finished tallying unofficial election night results. Good luck on your elections!

June 24, 2009 - NTS holds a Users Group Meeting starting at 4:30 p.m. Covered will be several developments including recent enhancements to our petition management, candidate management and elected official functions, a demonstration of our Custodian Asset Tracking and Management System and details on the voter information mailer we are working on. This meeting will be held in the ballroom at the Ramada Geneva Lake Front hotel in conjunction with the Election Commissioners Annual Summer conference.

May 19, 2009 - NTS' TEAM-ED software helps the Greece Central School District successfully conduct the Annual School Budget vote, providing voter registration software, absentee ballot management, budget notice post cards and poll lists. District Clerk Lynne Armstrong comments: "Everything went very well. Had a great response to the poll books... Thank you so much for all your time and support with this conversion, I couldn't be happier with the results."

April 14, 2009 - In order to assist counties facing travel difficulties, Training Sessions in Geneva have been added. The New Staff Training will be presented on June 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ramada Lakefront in Geneva. The Refresher on Poll worker and training on absentee enhancements will be presented on June 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. also at the Ramada Lakefront in Geneva. Please note that this is the same location that the summer conference will be held starting the afternoon of June 23 continuing through June 26.

March 31, 2009 - Special Election for the vacant 20th Congressional District seat being held in 10 counties in New York State, 9 of who use NTS' election management software and 5 of those use NTS’ election night reporting software and services.

March 24, 2009 - Training for both new and existing users of the TEAM Election Management system will be held in conjunction with the New York State Board of Elections Annual Conference in Albany. The Conference will be held April 27 29 and training for TEAM version 5.2.10 including major absentee management enhancements will be held after the State Best Practices meeting on the 29th. March 19, 2009 - Four New York Counties, Cattaraugus, Livingston, Sullivan and Madison participated in beta testing the newly enhanced absentee functionality of NTS' TEAM version 5.2.10. Beta testing went exceptionally well and several excellent ideas from the beta testers will be incorporated in the final release during 2009 Q2. Thanks Beta Testers!

December 9, 2008 - NTS has been added to the official agenda of the 2009 New York State Election Commissioners Association Winter Conference being held at the Otesaga Resort in Cooperstown in January, 2009. The 2009 User's Group Meeting will take place on January 21, 2009 at 1 p.m. and will give NTS customers the opportunity to share tips and techniques with regard to using NTS software products and discuss lessons learned from the Presidential election year.

November 18, 2008 - NTS welcomes the Greece Central School District of New York as the first TEAM-ED installation. Located in the Rochester area, Greece is one of the largest school districts in New York State. NTS will be supplying Greece with printing services for budget notice post cards and Election Day poll registers as well as the comprehensive TEAM-ED Election Management System for Schools.

November 5, 2008 - The historic 2008 Presidential Election is over! After several years of campaigns, heated primaries and record registrations, the 2008 election season has completed successfully. NTS is proud to have assisted over 70 counties in 5 states serving over 6 million voters by printing election notices, Election Day poll books, providing election management and voter registration software and services and tools to report on election results in a nearly real-time manner.

September 1, 2008 - John Jennings, Vice President of NTS Data Services, LLC is very pleased to announce that Heather White is joining NTS in the role of Business Development Specialist. With a background in technology sales and marketing, Heather will be working to carry out new initiatives at NTS including Election Management for School Districts. Heather joins Mark Rossman, NTS’s Director of Government Services and a 25 year NTS veteran, in providing technology solutions to counties, towns and school districts.
